Football Kenya Federation(FKF)Nyanza regional league zone A is set to take its first leg final race this weekend with a couple of matches that will be played on various grounds.
The league leaders Jenga Talanta Mosora Fc are scheduled on Sunday to face Kenyamware pirates at Mosora primary grounds afternoon at 1pm.
After playing a total of thirteen matches,they have secured eleven winnings,one draw,losing one and garnering a total of thirty four points.
On the other hand,Kenyamware have played 13 matches,securing five wins,drawing three and losing five matches,garnering a total of eighteen points.
Speaking after a 2-1 win in their friendly match against Ang’iya Fc on last week,Mosora’s team Coach Isaac Obao says he is hopeful with the preparations done and he believes the boys will record a win as they head to first leg climax season 2023/2024.
Last assignment Kenyamware Fc who are currently on position nine lost 3-1 against Kisii Industrial while Mosora fc were issued free three points as a results of the opponent team Gachuba All-Stars failinng to show up pn the ground.
Aiming to win the league title, Mosora Fc will be forced to fight for a win so as to increase point difference with their close opponents.
Other matches to be played on the fixture released by FKF are; Magenche vs Kineni,Nyansiongo township vs Borabu Sundowns, Global connection vs Nyamira United among others.
